The raw material comes from edible fish, in an environmentally friendly utilization of so-called by-products from the gutting process. We do not use Norwegian cod, which may be an endangered species. Cold fish such as Norwegian cod is also more fatty in the skin and therefore less suitable for collagen – it simply takes more raw material then.
